In my dreams I’m sitting and pondering. Thinking and praying. Wishing and dancing inside and around the trees. Flashing my teeth as my eyes glisten and my smile broadens.
The wind whips us forward, and the grass tickles the skin. Then there is a glare; the sun has come out to dance upon our skin, and make the hairs on our head beacons inside the onslaught of darkness. We were giddy, us two, and we were lovers, and friends, and people, and yet we were utterly alone. Separate, we were, alone upon our hills - curious if Jack and Jill would venture up our hill.
